I just overheard this kid talking to his friends.

"Oh man! Tonight's going to suck. Our house going to be over run with 12 year olds...because it's my sister's birthday"

Ok, he's 14! 

I had to laugh because seriously, that's just silly.

Overdue media announced the winners of the Pimp my Book Cart Contest, it looked so fun that we are going to do it at the school for one of our house contests. Hopefully they will approve it but I think I have to change the name. All the ladies were like, "you can't use "pimp"".  Is it weird that I did not see anything wrong with using "pimp"?  I know the kids watch "Pimp My Ride" so I really did not think anything of it.

So far the contest names are:

Extreme Book Cart Makeover
Bedazzle the Book Cart (uh, I know)
Book Cart Decorating Contest

Personally, I love the Pimp My Book Cart title but we are dealing with middle schoolers...so...yeah
Please help me come up with something witty by tomorrow because honestly, i am not that creative with the words, people.

After I saw the email from our director, ambookgeek emailed the Queen and I ran to see her because, I think, we were both excited. Or he was just warning her that I was on my way....hummm... oh well...:)  But with the email and me running, the Queen said, "you two will be the death of me." LOL! I know, she totally finds me amusing. Today, she looked at me, shook her head, and asked, "where are you from?" It's all in good fun.
