anyway, I hope your team won and if your team didn't win..well, maybe next year! And hey, at least the Cardinals made it the Super Bowl after a 40 year absence.
Did you have a favorite ad? The Pepsi ads were lame though and I'm not the only one saying that. I did enjoy all the movie previews and someone, I think RPM, mentioned the SOBE dancers commercial. That was pretty entertaining too.
Anyway, I did see Jennifer Hudson sing and she was incredible! Wow..that girl just has the most amazing voice ever! Wow!
Happy Sunday evening! off to bed!
"You can't be as old as I am without waking up with a surprised look on your face every morning: 'Holy Christ, whaddya know - I'm still around!' It's absolutely amazing that I survived all the booze and smoking and the cars and the career. "
Paul Newman is my favorite actor of all time. I used to tell people that I would totally marry him even though is was in his 80s. I really admired him as an actor and a person. I think, we just lost one of the greatest actors of our time. I am glad his work, his food products and his good deeds will still carry on. Rest In Peace Mr. Newman! Thanks for everything you have shared with the world. One of your biggest fans, Miss Martini
I thought it would be a great idea to post some of the songs I'm converting. Every time I do a batch of albums, I will pick the tracks that just stand out. So, here are some tracks for your listening pleasure:
The next track is the B-Side of Otis Redding's "Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa (sad song)." He really did die way too young. I often wonder what his music would sound like in the 70s. "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" - one of my all time favorite songs - really was a departure from his earlier recordings but you can only guess if that was reflecting some bigger move or if it was just a one time thing he was trying out. When I lived in Santa Cruz, my roommates and I would sit up on the roof (there was a door there because supposedly the owners were building a balcony) and blast Otis Redding's Greatest Hits, smoke cigarettes, drink beers and watch the boats in the harbor. It was one of those truly great moments that happened pretty frequently living in that small house. So here you go, "Good To Me" by Otis Redding.
George Michael. What happened to him? I mean, I still like him. I borrowed his greatest hits and it does have every George Michael song that I love. Here is one of my favorite songs and the video was pretty cool too. Back when there were "super models."
