I was working out at the school gym and they have a nice TV with cable on it so I was watching AM on MTV because I need to know what the kids are listening to these days and this commercial came on! WT? Um, I know, I am probably late to the game but really shake weight...really?!?!?
It's just like that Schick Quattro Commercial!
But I was cracking up with this shake weight commercial. Because hello! yes, my mind went there!
And then I saw this on YouTube
um..ok Shake Weight..O.K.
In honor of Earth Day, I bring you
Duran Duran's "Planet Earth." It has nothing to do with saving the planet but it is called "Planet Earth" and it's about love! YAY!
And with that I bring some things that kind of disturb or annoy me:
I was listening to NPR's All Things Considered and they had a story about this cd by Christine Balfa. I have nothing against Christine Balfa and Cajun music but 55 minutes of triangle music?!? Really? just her and a triangle!?! WTH? It was so annoying - ting ting ting - ting ting ting over and over again! I mean, 55 minutes of just pure triangle! The story was annoying because they had the ting ting-ing in the background of the interview but you know what, I was so irritated and in disbelief that I sat through that whole NPR story. Take a listen and you will know what I'm talking about! Because i don't want to be the only one who has experience this!
Goes without saying but I'll say it - Snuggies! Yeah, no! You look like Yoda in that thing. And I saw some great modifications on Cute with Chris too! Here and here.
That annoying Strap Perfect commercial.
Seriously, someone patented this and is making money off of this? Yeah, no! ANNOYING! It's called a clip or a rubber band or something that ISN'T the strap perfect!
Ok, I think that's all for now. I'm going for a bike ride because now it's actually only 80 degrees outside and not 100! I saw people running earlier - it was 96 degrees out. How do those people do it? I say I will pass. Have a good one and hey! Happy Earth Day!!!

I remember this commercial. I was 5 years old and that was the year we move to the States. So you can imagine how delighted I was when I watched this.
I didn't watch the commerical during the game because, I'll admit it, I didn't really care. Plus I had to work and twitter was much more entertaining than having to watch it. So I watched it here and I even saw that MC Hammer Cash 4 Gold commercial. Wow. That's pretty bad but everyone's gotta pay their bills...
anyway, I hope your team won and if your team didn't win..well, maybe next year! And hey, at least the Cardinals made it the Super Bowl after a 40 year absence.
Did you have a favorite ad? The Pepsi ads were lame though and I'm not the only one saying that. I did enjoy all the movie previews and someone, I think RPM, mentioned the SOBE dancers commercial. That was pretty entertaining too.
Anyway, I did see Jennifer Hudson sing and she was incredible! Wow..that girl just has the most amazing voice ever! Wow!
