Taking Care of the Footsies
Does anyone remember this commercial? When I was a kid, this used to crack me up because (1) I thought those were the uglies shoes in the world and (2) really? basketball in pumps!?! WTH?
However, now that I'm am older-ish I have been on a quest to find the perfect brand of work shoes - that are cute but comfortable. Remember when we only had easy spirts or we would have to kill our feet in pretty shoes or just plain orthotic/orthodic nurse shoes? I was not down with that. I wanted to suffer. But lately, I am not about the suffering. I want to not have weird cramped looking toes. I was in the dressing room once and this woman's feet next to me just looked like they were screaming in pain. No thank you! I'll wear sensible shoes at least I'll be able to walk when I'm really old.
Anyway, I love Clarks and now they have the Clarks Artisan Collection. I bought these because I need work shoes (there's a lot of stairs and our new library is the size of a football field -seriously!)
I wore them all day today and I have to say - They are a winner. Yesterday, I broke down and bought 2 pairs in 2 different colors. Yeah, that's like shopping like my mother! but whatever. I made a great purchase and now I must share it with the world! Hello world! I found the best shoes ever and they are cute!!!!!

Those Clarks are super cute. I may have to check them out since I have bagged up a bunch of shoes to give away and can allow myself to re-Imelda my closet (well, a little)
Oh yes! You should. I am in love with those shoes. I wore the black ones today and my feet are happy happy! Definitely worth looking at..those they were much cheaper at Macys than Zappos.
