For Your Listening Pleasure: selections from RCP 3
I have not had much time to digitize more of my records but the last group was pretty good.
I thought I'd throw in an Etta James' track because of this. Just kidding! I love Etta James. Who does not love her version of "At Last"? This one is off of Argo Records and the A side is "Two Sides (to Every Story)." I have always loved Etta James voice - she's got a pretty mean growl on her other songs.
The next track is from the Manhattans. It is off of a Columbia 45 that was pressed in 1973. The B side is "I'm not a run around." I really do not have much from them so I thought I would add this one.
Sticking with the 70s, this is Al Green's "You Say It" from London Records (1970). It's funky! This one makes you want to get up and dance.
