This is from MOCA's permanent collection. They are actually holding a retrospective of <a href="http://www.moca.org/museum/exhibitiondetail.php?id=407">her work right now</a>. The retrospective is very interesting but a bit dark for me. There were some pieces that looked like images from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Ghraib_prison">Abu Ghraib</a>. But, that's probably the point, to make me uncomfortable and think.
There are a couple of pools behind MOCA that I love sitting at. Today, I read most of Steve Martin's "A Comic's Life" while staying cool in the shade. This is my favorite spot in downtown. It's quiet, the occasional business people walking around, lots of benches and of course, SHADE! Plus, I rerally love the reflection of the apartment building off of the Bank of the West building.

The bees are taking over
The bees are now buzzing around the carport under my studio. They are clustering next to the lights. Tonight, I had to try to figure out how to get my stuff out of my car without freaking them out and having them swarm me. Gah! Nothing against bees but this is making this place uninhabitable.
Seriously! This is outside my kitchen window. Fun times for me!
Will and Cynch had their reception at Qualcomm Stadium. People were running around the stadium taking pictures. What else would you do in an empty stadium?
Cynch & Will had their reception at Qualcomm because they are huge Chargers fans :) It was amazing too. They even had a fireworks show at the end of the reception. Hello!
